Michael Cotsenmoyer is a Southern California native, currently of Orange County. He began his career in sales as a bartender during college. After attending California State University Fullerton, he went on to work for Enterprise Rent a Car. In 2008, Michael applied for a position with JE Brown & Associates, as a territory sales manager. Having no prior insurance experience, Michael went on to receive his CPCU, as well as other designations. Along the way, a young family sprouted up. He and his wife Heather are blessed with one boy and one girl. He is now the Director of Sales & Marketing for JE Brown, and leads a team of 5.
Fred Giron, CPCU, AIC is an account executive at PHD Insurance Brokers, Inc. in Garden Grove CA specializing in personal insurance P&C products. Fred is also a part time insurance instructor at UCI Continuing Education and member of the Orange County CPCU Society.
Trung Doan, CPCU, RPLU, ASLI is Second Vice President at United States Liability Insurance Group (USLI). Prior to joining USLI in 2008, he was a Personal Lines Underwriter at King Insurance Support Systems. He is a California State University, Fullerton graduate with a degree in Finance. Trung is a proud member of Gamma Iota Sigma and one of the co-founders of Emerging Insurance Professional’s Orange County Chapter. In addition to his passion for the Insurance Industry, he is an avid Denver Broncos fan.
Krista Hartin is an Account Executive at Travelers Insurance Company specializing in Products Liability for medical device and biotechnology companies. In her ten plus years of industry experience, she has also held underwriting positions at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and Chubb Insurance Group. She holds a BA in Social Sciences from California State University, Stanislaus. In her spare time she enjoys giving back to the community and volunteering for Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County.
Bob Cretel, CPCU, is a unit manager in the claims department in the Auto Club of Southern California. With over 35 years of insurance, in markets spanning from coast to coast as well as in many fields of insurance, Bob now manages the total loss department, recovering millions of dollars for The Club. On his free time, Bob enjoys rock climbing and wind surfing.
Leah is currently the Career and Professional Development Advisor at Cal State Fullerton, Center for Insurance Studies. She worked in the insurance industry 30+ years on the commercial product management and underwriting side. Leahreceived her CPCU designation in 1993, AMIM and Are designations in 1995.
