Objective: This course is designed to provide insurance professionals with a better understanding of earthquakes relating to their mechanics and the damage they can cause specifically to residential homes with different construction materials and foundations. This course is also designed to provide insurance professionals with tools to help their clients understand how better to protect themselves, their homes and their possessions. Detailed information will be provided on the basics of earthquake mechanics, what effects earthquakes can have, and how to best protect against property loss.
